The Nebraska Regional Interoperability Network (NRIN) Webinar

Join us for a  webinar on October 6, 2022 2:00 P:M: CST

From Chadron to Nebraska City, responders have access to a state -wide network that was designed to improve interoperable communications across Nebraska. Emergency personnel can use statewide communication resources and new, developing technologies through the transport capabilities that NRIN offers.

This transport system has the capability of moving data as fast as 100 megabytes per second and it runs at 5(9s) capability, meaning that 99.999 percent of the time there is a redundant connection available. The network can transport large amounts of data, radio, voice and video quickly and efficiently in a secure and reliable fashion.

NRIN is formed under the Nebraska Interlocal Cooperation Act and has a governance board made up of Emergency Managers, County/City board members, IT specialists and 911 center directors. Board Directors are elected by the 60 counties and 5 municipalities that are NRIN members.

In this webinar, participants will learn:

 - How NRIN started and evolved

 - How NRIN can be used in communities throughout Nebraska to save money and improve public safety

 - How NRIN partnerships ensure reliable and effective interoperable communications graph block.
