The Clerk of the District Court will highlight current funding challenges, review recent proposals from the Administrative Office of the Courts and the Nebraska Supreme Court, and discuss their potential impact on counties and the citizens they serve.

- This session will provide county officials with an important refresher on the appropriate use of public funds, property, and equipment. Craig Kubicek from the Auditor of Public Accounts (APA) will review common audit findings, share recent examples, and discuss preventive measures counties can implement to promote compliance, accountability, and transparency. The presentation will also cover frequently asked questions and highlight emerging areas of concern identified through recent audits.
