Awarded to any elected or appointed county official currently holding office that has modeled leadership by example and has contributed to county government and local community activities both personally and professionally.

Awarded to NACO participants for their service to their communities and in their involvement with NACO for 25 years or more.

Awarded to County Officials for showing a promising future by being actively involved in their affiliate groups and by showing a strong interest in the development of NACO through leadership and education.

Awarded to County Board Members who have been in office for at least two (2) terms, have been active on regional boards, been chairman of their county board, participated in the legislative process, or appointed to a statewide committee. They also will have regularly attended NACO educational opportunities, events and meetings.
