NACO Southeast District representative Dan Alm began his insurance career with BlueCross BlueShield of Nebraska in July 1987. After nearly 32 years, he started his own insurance company, Millard Benefits, and has been assisting seniors with Medicare education and services for more than 6 years.
When he’s not spending time with family or attending sporting events and concerts, Dan keeps busy working with counties in the NACO Southeast District, including Douglas, Sarpy, Cass, and Saunders. With more than three decades of industry experience, he understands the confusion people might face when navigating the Medicare process.
“There is so much misinformation, or simply irrelevant information, that seniors are bombarded with. My company focuses on providing just the necessary and relevant information, so each individual is able to make an educated decision on what is the most cost-effective option for themselves based on their own personal needs.”
Dan is dedicated to empowering seniors to be independent decision makers. He said it’s important to stay updated on the constantly changing Medicare landscape. With NACO’s support in this educational effort, seniors are better equipped to make these critical decisions.
