Designed by NACO and the University of Nebraska, the County Official Online Learning (COOL) Network is a nine-week online learning program built for Nebraska government leaders.
This course provides an opportunity for participants to network with other county officials, university professors, and experts in local government through a discussion forum and a weekly live webinar. Topics covered include:
- The purpose, structure, and funding of county government
- Effective leadership and management strategies
- Public engagement
- Visioning and strategic planning
- Information Technology risk management
Registration for the 2023 session will open December 2022.
